Tech-X is the recommended oil for oil ring vacuum pumps, with the three-prong purpose of lubrication, sealing and cleaning. In systems where oil is recirculated, Daviesway DASCO offers a specially formulated oil, so any water contamination remains separated and can be drained off. Standard oil will mix with the water and compromise the vacuum pump.
