Polyandroalbumin is a conjugate of the steroid androstenedione and the protein albumin. It works on natural principles to increase the ewe?s ovulation rates.
Increased ovulation rate, increased lamb production.
With the use of OVASTIM, the ovulation rate of the flock can increase from 18% to 45%. Ovulation rate is by far the most important factor determining the number of lambs born. Trials* with OVASTIM in commercial flocks have shown an average increase in lambs born of 20%, primarily through an increase in the number of twin births. With good management practices more lambs on the ground will result in more lambs surviving through to marking and sale.
